Is vomitting a common result of giving blood?

Besides mentally freaking one out, would there be any physical cause for one to vomit?

sometimes a loss of blood makes people light headed and naseaus. Does the place taking your blood give you juice or have you rest afterwards? If not then take juice with you and eat a cookie and ask if there is a place to lie down for a while. My son used to pass out after giving blood.

Yeah, if it freaks you out, you could have a vasovagal response, causing you to drop your blood pressure, get dizzy and/ or and vomit (or even pass out).

Not really, but if you are uncomfortable around needles or blood, then it could happen.
