i am studying your religion due to all the propaganda out there of it's actual beliefs , can you explain this to me ? is it a lie ?

it is from the book know the enemy , which is a book attempting to show the difference between modern muslims and the radicals such as bin laden

"The most widely respected Islamic authorities: the six accepted collections of (Sunni) hadith; the authoritative commentators on, and exegetes of, the hadith and Qur’an; the leading ancient experts on Islamic law; and the four schools of Islamic fiqh [jurisprudence] all assume that Muslims have a duty to spread the dominion of Islam, through military offensives, until it rules the world"

This is simply a big lie.

They said before the bigger the lie the more believable it will be and this is a classical example of that.

You have the history of Islam in Spain and India to prove me right. If it was dominations that Islam is looking for you would not have found non Muslims when the Islamic rule left these countries

God bless

No. Though it is hard to show my proof, and it is an opinion.

Muslims believe that the Qur'an is God's book, and has no falseness, and that all of the hadith is just Muhammad (PBUH)'s own ides, and thus must contain some inconsistencies.

There is a sect, the third largest in Islam, called Sufism.
These Muslims believe that violence should never be used, to the same extreme that Gandhi went to.

Other Muslims generally beleive that humans have the right to fight for their lives, etc.

The only way to know what Islam really asks for is to look it up in the Qur'an, which over 99% of Muslims believe is the word of God.

In the Qur'an it often tells Muslims that they should show people the Qur'an and ask them why it couldn't be God's book.

In the Qur'an it also says that you should be kind to all people.
It says that the only discrimination to be given to non-muslims is a tax in Muslim nations. A tax that most people believe to be fair because muslims are required to pay a 2.5% tax on their "inactive" money, or on all money that they keep for a year without using.

It's an opinion. True Islam can be found entirely in the Qur'an.

Salam :) I'm a Muslim teen dwelling in Canada. I put on hijab alhamdullilah and it is for probably the most aspect authorised right here in view that i reside in a massive town with a vast Muslim populace. I do get the few ignorant feedback and idiots at institution although who ask stuff like "yo received a bomb below there hahaha". But the toughest aspect is being one-of-a-kind out of your peers. Being a Muslim, events, alcohol relationship boys dressed in revealing apparel and many others is haram, and at the same time I do not wish to do this besides, it may be just a little awkward to have got to give an explanation for why I do not do it to men and women who do not forget it only a aspect of being a youngster and its common to them. Muslims dwelling in Muslim international locations obviously have it less complicated in the case of becoming in. And with meals it may be just a little complex however I constantly attempt to learn the label if I'm no longer definite of the materials. But I would not wanna be every other faith regardless of how tricky it will get and the way one-of-a-kind I consider from every body else, I'm completely satisfied to be Muslim :)

Does not the Unholly Church have the same concept. Did not the so called Holly Wars over the Holy Lands not spread both Religions by the use of fear and the swords of both sides. Was not the Christens just as guilty as the Muslims. And have you not been able to see that just as Christians have different beliefs from other Christians so do one group of Muslims have different beliefs than other Muslims. This is why Iraqi is going into a Civil War now and all we are doing is making it worse.

No islam does teach you to spread your faith but not by violence. Read Surah 109 in the Quran. It is very short and proves that islam does not believe in forced conversions.
