I feel like true love is when no matter what happens in ones life you and the person you are in love with will always be together. Unconditional Love. Some people don't understand this term. No matter what comes up in your life, no matter the situation that person will be there. Every waking moment. The only situation that you have no control over is death. Hence the phrase "till death do us part". This is how I feel, I want to see how you all feel about the situation.

I do feel that too True Love can even extend pass the grave. Just cause someone dies does not mean they die in your heart. I take back that, "till death do us part", b/c when I find true love I will love that person beyond death.

Love.......
Everyone feels it and experiences it some time in their lives.
It's all on how you feel.
Like you said it's the feelings of knowing that you care so much about this one person, that no matter what happens you will always stay by their side.
For me.... My true love is my Unconditional love for my husband. I would give my life for this man just so he can keep on living, and so others would be able to see how wonderful he is.
Do you question yourself when you're with this person?
For me I can just be sitting there look over at him and ask myself what I did to deserve this kind of love and appreciation. Or at night I'll lay there and just watch him sleeping and gently rub my fingers down his face, knowing that there will never be another man in this world who will make me feel the way I do.
It's something that many don't ever get to feel. Sure we all LOVE, but it's the true deep love that gets you tickled pink, and grateful, and thankful that you have this special person in your life.
I honestly don't know where I'd be with your him!

True Love is when you have feelings like no other for this person. It's when you feel like you've known them forever when you first meet them, and every time you part it feels like there's a hole that needs filled in your heart. It feels like fireworks and waterfalls, and no matter what, you want this person by your side through it all. You have enough in common, but different opinions, and you can get into fights and they won't matter. Love is something there is no definition for---when it happens, you'll feel it; you'll know.

My favorite definition of love is as follows: Love is intimacy, secured by commitment and motivated by passion. Different parts of the world look at love in different ways. We as Americans look at love as a feeling we get when our needs are being met. Eastern philosophy believes that love is the wish to make someone else happy. I personally believe love needs to have many components in order to be classified as "true love". For me, there needs to be intimacy (emotional and sexual), commitment to doing the work it takes to maintain a lasting relationship, chemistry and passion, trust, monogamy, and open communication. Love can be as unique as the person you are loving. The key is to find someone who has the same idea of love as you do.

i agree with all you said..but more so as well
love is when you get swept away from reality by caring about someone so much..you'd risk your life for them...and be there no matter what was happening within your life...giving up everything and anything just to hold this special person's hand..and doing whatever means necessary just to see a sparkle in his/her's eye and a slight smile on his/her's face.
hope this helps...

I feel the exact same way. It's "till death do us part" not "till problems do us part" . I wish people would understand that and take marriage more seriously.

When there is 100% support from both sides there is true love. No matter what the circumstances your mate will support you and you will support them. When your heart still beats faster when you know they are coming home. This is true love.

I think your answer hit the nail on the head. More people should think like that. It seems to have gotten lost.
