Go to download .com and get Wavepad. It is great for that, and free.

You need a wave file editor. Never used this one, but it's free.

use sound recorder free with computer under accesories. once open go up to file and hit open and find you're file you can blend it with other files, cut the end of it off or cut the beggining off easy to use and free.

Go to http://www.nch.com.au/wavepad/ and download the software. It is called wavepad. You onpen it up, then go to open file, open the file that you want to edit.
