I want to loose weight but im havin trouble. I play like three sports.

Monitor what you eat over a 3 day period and write it down. then look at what you normally eat and cut back on all the unenecessary snacking that occurs in between meals.

During meals,also, dont eat in a hurry (this one works for me), but put your utensils down after every bite and let the food settle. also, have a sip of water in between each bite, it will fill you up faster.

If you have the urge to snack on something before or after your practice, reach for an apple or a fruit. carrots help too. They are crunchy and good for you =]. Try new foods and new combinations. carrots & hummus, apples & salsa etc.

Eat whole grain breads and starches, not the enriched stuff. 8 Grain Granola Bread etc.

Try eating all your starchy foods at breakfast time and make breakfast your biggest meal. There is a proverb that says "eat like a king at breakfast, a duke at lunch and a peasant at dinner" and this is a really good proverb to follow. it has worked for me.

Everytime you have a craving to reach for something sweet, stop for a second and imagine how you will feel after you have eaten it, good or guilty. Don't get me wrong, enjoy a piece of chocolate or a little bit of ice cream every now and then, but dont make it an every day occurence.

just take a nice long jog at night or in the morning if you play three sports you most likely need to practice for them well practice more

do a simple but not real straining diet. pretty much just eat right. if your doing 3 sports that should be a good enough amount of excercise. ask one of your coaches... they could probly help you out

Talk to your pediatrician and make sure that you really do need to lose weight. If you do, he/she can put you on a diet and recommend an exercise routine.
