How to convince your mom of letting you die your hair?

im 14, and i have dirty blonde hair[very thick], most of my hair is turning brown, and there is a light layer of blonde on the top, and i dont have dark routes either..but my concern is that i want to die my hair a light brown before it takes over my head! and i go to the store, pick out a color and she tells me im too young [14] and i keep telilng her that people my age DO dye there hair. Any suggestions how i can make it darker or how to convince my mom of letting me dye it??

Well, I have a sister. She is a little punk kid. She convinced my mom that is she got sraight A's that she could get flouresent pink highlights. She was totally motivated.
