Ok so hello I have been struggling with my nose for two-three years. I used to push/press the bridge (the top of the nose) because I would always say "OMG! my nose is so ugly and big, no one will ever like me" but I have kind of learned to like it. So now I don’t press my nose. sometimes I think ugh.... its so ugly. My sister tells me that its small its not big at all. sometimes I don’t believe her and sometimes I do. so my question is… because I pressed my nose so much could it be that I made the bump bigger? And how can I make it smaller with out make up or surgery.

Thank you

well you may not believe me but all girls have there things were they just hate a part in there body. you have to just learn to love your body even if you think your nose is ugly, when ever you get kind of sad about your nose, try thinking of people who are much worse than you and be grateful for your own nose. surgery is not a good answer and hope you stick with not doing it, i kno many, many people who had surgery and hate what they look like after it. trust me... good luck and always be happy about yourself!

Pushing on the cartilage of your nose definitely didn't have any affect on its size or shape. It's hard as bone and not susceptible to periodic pressure.
The only way to reshape your nose is to have rhinoplasty (a nose job).

A large nose can be quite attractive. Don't worry about it. Adjust your hairstyle to compliment and be happy that your nose is approximately where it should be instead of off to one side.

If its that big of a deal, have cosmetic surgery. Is it affecting your breathing? If your breathing is affected you could have whats known as a deviated septum, the bridge is crooked and it causes pain and limited breathing. Your insurance should cover the surgery. GO to an eye, nose and throat specialist.

I think that's highly unlikely, and if you like your nose now, then just leave it alone...
FYI it's Ear, Nose, Throat Specialist, not Eye
