I think you need to get a visa and then you will be allowed in.
I just found this
Some travelers may not be eligible to enter the United States visa free under the VWP. These include people who have been arrested, even if the arrest did not result in a criminal conviction, those with criminal records, certain serious communicable illnesses, those who have been refused admission into, or have been deported from, the United States, or have previously overstayed on the visa waiver program. Such travelers must apply for special restricted visas . If they attempt to travel without a visa, they may be refused entry into the United States.

You are going to be OK if you do that because the LEA(Law Enforcement Agency) won't convict you from 25 years ago. Now see if it was from 10 years ago, it's iffy, so you might get screwed for it. But just so you know, being drunk doesn't really affect things like being drunk[as a teenager]. I am almost one myself and can't wait to drink because I love wine, like I get it at Church on Sunday at my Roman Catholic Church.

Had Americans been fussy who they let into this country, the World Trade Center would still be there.

IF you were under the age of 18, your conviction automatically disappears. I would not worry so long as you were under 21...you did say "minor".

Shouldn't be a problem. The statute of limitations has run out for that already. It's not like you murdered someone, right? Say "hello" to Mickey Mouse for me.

Isn't your juvie record sealed? It should be. And don't go around telling everyone what you did in the past that got you into trouble.

I went to Florida, had a cannabis charge and had a lovely 2 weeks holiday.

Nothing to worry about.
