My whole family is very pregadis (except my mom) and i dont see why. I think black guys are cute and funny and i think of white guys the same way so why is everybody getting all bent out of shape over interracial relationships? And anybody thats been in one how did people react to you?

Friends used to ask me what it was like to date a black girl, then a vietnamese girl, and a native american girl.
I was fortunate enough to date a lot of beautiful women of many varied ancestries (not 'races'). They were all very different individuals, and all were interested in the same thing, a guy who would treat them with respect, honesty, and love. If your guy treats you well, then it's no one else's business what color he is.
If you are still living at home, you have to respect what your parents tell you, whether you agree or not. I hope they can get to know your future BFs and accept them as long as they treat you well.
Interracial? We're all the human race, kid. You want to shake up your folks? Go date the neighbor's dog.

I do not have a problem with interracial relationships, my only concern with them is if an interracial couple has children. The problem is this, the child, especially if it is a black/white couple, will show traits from both races and currently, kids like that tend to get teased and called names because of it. It is unfair to punish the child because of who his parents are, but at this time, it does happen. Hopefully, in the future, this will change and it will no longer be an issue.

I think all men are fair game. My bf is Filipino; I'm German. Works well. We have very different cultural backgrounds, we're raised with very different values and customs, but that's what makes it more fun - variety is much better than staleness. Yes, you still run into people who were raised in parts of the country that are still very prejudice and therefore for them it seems the norm. Unfortunately, from my experience, they are pretty hard to change, but usually as they get to know a person past the stereotypes it seems to get better. Some people are too closed minded to ever change and to those people you have to not care or value their opinion because their opinion is just that theirs... luckily it seems to be falling out of main stream & I hope it continues that way.

ive had many interracial relationships...

women are women and men are men. You look for a man that treats you right and that loves you and that's all that matters - no matter what his race or nationality.

I hear of relationships that fail because of cultural differences, so take that under serious consideration. If you don't think that's a problem, then hey! good for you!

As long as a person makes you happy that's all that should matter who cares what others think.
