Get your mind off it by doing something else which you should have a list made so that you can choose from it at any moment. Learing to deal with the pain and not eating is very important because once you finish the fast, your body will try every trick to force you to eat more each day to get your body back to where it was before the fast. It will also want to put on extra weight just in case you try to do this again, it can be better prepared.
You lose weight very fast by fasting but you can also put the weight back on just as fast. Please read up on fasting and breaking the fast (when the time is right) because I still don't know anyone today that has fasted and kept the weight off for a long long period of time.

If you are juice fasting and not losing weight, the juice is supplying all the calories you need. You may have to cut down on the juices or alternate between water fasting and juice fasting if losing weight is part of your goal. The slower your metabolism is the slower the weight loss.
Try to stay focused on the healthy things you are doing to improve your life rather than being consumed with the number of pounds lost each day. Water retention can vary your weight five pounds so watching the scale can be frustrating. The best motivation to fast is for physical and spiritual health. Be patient; the fasting process is slow. Be thankful the toxins are leaving your body. Do not have unrealistic expectations. Give your body the time it needs to do the work of cleansing.

fasting is the worst way to diet. people dont realize that burning fat takes tremendous calories. if you reduce calories to the extreme..i.e. fasting, your metabolism will slow down to compensate for the reduced (or in your case lack of) calories. you'll be like a hibernating bear. the severe pain you fell is your body telling you it needs food. a far more healthier approach is to eat smaller portions every 2-3 hours. a slice of turkey, fruit, anything. if your hungry its already late...
but if this is not an option because of time constraints then try meditating. focus on accepting the pain of your body and relish in it. sounds hokey but it works.
but honestly, your body is in starvation mode. there are plenty of other less dangerous ways to lose wieght quickly. fasting truly is inefficient and dangerous. try the cabbage soup diet (google it) or a a protien diet and run till you drop. i dont think are the best ways either but if its time your up against they'll do but when you stop these diets, you'll almost always blow up again.
you can try crack or meth which will make you lose weight super fast but the trade off is usually the painful destruction of everything you love and an utterly ruined life.

The only thing you can do is eat. You are depriving your body if you are fasting, and you are starving it of essential nutrients. I'm not saying pig out. You've heard it a million times, eating sensibly and exercising is the only safe way to lose weight. Changing your habits is the only way to lose weight and maintain a healthy weight.

You should never fast. Its better to eat slightly fewer calories than normal so if you do have hunger its not overwhelming to you. Fasting is only for muslims.
