it makes sense....its written, i can hold it...my parents believed it....its true...but then, alot of things are written...should we take mein kamph (spelling) as law? oooo how about the book of mormon and the dark bible, or satanist books? theyre written down, they say theyre true....hmmmmmmm so comflicted, better ask my pastor.......

Which bible are you talking about? The last time I went into a major book store there were some 60 different versions on the shelves. All with a different prospective.

It's not a question of "understanding" it. We don't believe it. We don't believe in God. Claiming a book was written by God is not evidence for God.
And for someone who's supposedly so religious, don't you know that you're supposed to capitalize the name of God? I'm an atheist, and even I do that.

I can't understand it, because a statement within a book saying that the book is true is no kind of proof.
I can write a book tonight and sprinkle in some sentences that say "By the way, this whole book is true"

I can't recall myself or anyone I know saying the Bible is God's Word vecause the Bible says so; I myself know that it is God's Word, because God says so, and I have seen his hand in my life, through the power of his Word. um....that makes no sense. I could right a book, call myself god and convince people god wrote it and that doing certain stuff is wrong....but im only human!
mein kamph was written by hitler. he says hes true. so what. its not that athiests cant understand it. they understand what your saying and what you believe but they dont believe it themselves. thats thier choice.
