i cant have a proper bank account as i dont have the correct id, i currently have a cashaccount which is rubbish as i can only take money out via the lloyds hole in the wall, i am sending off for a passport and provisional license to change this but i'm quite impatient and was woundering if there was a way around setting up a contract for a phone?

I don't believe there is unless you put forward a large deposit on the phone. Even then, many phone companies are wary to offer contracts because it's so easy to run up charges. I'd suggest going the prepaid route until you can step in with the proper ID and get a credit card or debit car. Best of luck!

yes you can just go into a shop amd do it that way.........but sounds more like you've got bad credit to me.
