I had a friend do this to me during our senior year of high school. Now I'm a senior in college and things still aren't the same... We were BEST friends and hung out almost every day and talked on the phone for hours about anything. It's very unfortunate and I know it can make you feel really lonely and upset. Trust me, it was a horrible way for me to finish up high school. But, this will show you who your true friends are.

Sometimes it doesn't matter how long you've known someone. People can turn on you in a second. She's not a good friend, and the best thing to do is to be the bigger person and to try to move on. You don't need someone like that in your life. Trust me, I tried to be friends with my best friend again a year or 2 later, but it just wasn't the same and I still can't trust her 4 years later. Live your life for yourself, and worry about your own happiness. She is just going to get in the way of that. I'm sorry...Feel better and good luck

I always have this problem with my closest friend, except i was like your friend. Every now and then i would just start ignoring her and kinda talk behind her back. The reason, usually , is because shes trying to be cool or she think you did something wrong. For example, keep coping her, try to do everything like her. you know stuff like that

if i were in your situation( and i have been) i would confront the friend, and try to find out if your friendship menas as much to you as it does to her. she may also be experiencing trouble in other aspects of her life, so try to find out before you consider ending such a long friendship.
