do I give him a chance?

I met this man and he is stimulates me mentally, spiritually, and physically. He is from iraq, he work at home depot, he lives at a church home due to personal reasons, he doesn't drink or smoke, or have any baby mamas out there, and he doesn't have a car. As far as material things are concerned I have more then he does. I dont really care that he doesn't have as much as me, however I feel programmed (family and friends) to care about him not having a car, a place of his own, and just being in his situation.

hey it isnt what they own it is who they are,others can say this and that about YOUR relationship but can you about theres? if you like him and you obvioulsy do DONT let friends or family try and talk you out of him as he doesnt own this or that, he is human also and not everyone is rich or moderate in money...please go with your heart...

If you care enough about him, give him a chance, but be very careful. His culture and religion are very different from a lot of others, so if you are not of the same country you might not be able to accept them as your own. Check these things out before you get in too deep.

Of coarse give him a chance. The greats in life had nothing material and wanted nothing material. Would your family and friends think Gandhi was a loser?

If you feel that it can work out, then you should try it! Trying does not mean you are going to get married, if you see that is worth it then get married but if not then you know what to do.
