If Jesus played baseball, He would most definitely be a starting pitcher in the National League, because unlike the American League, NL pitchers bat. Imagine the numbers He could put up as a pitcher as well as a batter, working on normal pitching rest (because, after all, God did need a day to rest after creation)! Nolan Ryan, Hank Aaron, Cy Young and Pete Rose eat your hearts out! Because Jesus is merciful, He would allow players to hit the ball now and then as a pitcher, but none of them would be able to get hits off of him. He would have 20 strikeouts and no hitters every game, going like 20-0 every year, retiring with over 400 wins to His credit. He would also have like 50 homers each year, and like 250 hits, retiring with like 5,000 hits and 1,000 homers when His career is done. Just some thoughts on this.
