Stop drinking sodas/caffeine at night. Sounds boring, I know...but it helped me.

Take a B complex vitamin at night. When you wake up, it gives you more energy and removes that "I'm still tired" feeling.

Watch what you eat, and exercise in the afternoons/evenings.

Make sure you get 8 hrs of sleep so as much as it sucks try to go to bed around 10 -11 pm. I myself hate alarm clocks so I set up my tv and stereo for my alarm. Instead of that annoying buzzing noise which instantly puts you in a bad mood. You wake up to your favorite songs blairing.... Makes you wanna get outta bed so much more. If it's sunny that early in the morning you could also leave your blinds open at night that way the light will make you get up too.

When you say you try to go to bed earlier: How much earlier are you talking about? You need 8 hrs. of sleep!!
Sounds to me like you aren't getting enough sleep. You need in bed by 10:00. Turn that computer off and go to bed!

get a cd player alarm clock. put in your favorite cd and set the alarm. When it starts playing you'll wake up and want to sing along with the music. Thats what gets me up and going.
