Okay so basically i used to like this one guy. I stopped and moved on, but he didn't (we weren't going out though). Recently though, I've noticed that his best friend is constantly trying to talk to me / make me laugh. Before he would do it when he is with his friend (the one i liked) probably to get my attention, and so I would talk to the guy i used to like. But now, he talks to me even when his friend (that i liked) isn't there..
Whatsup with that?
I'm confused?

It either sounds like he is interested in you for himself or he is trying to get information from you so he can go back to his friend and tell him about it.
If he is interested in you I would not persue it. When a friend crosses another friend to get a girl/boy friend you never know what they will do to you.

I never did. When a close friend broke up with his girlfriend, she waited a week and then announced to me: "I'd like to go out with you but for now I'm grieving so give me some time, ok?" You know what I did - I ignored her and never called because that would have been an insult to my friend.
In your case I think it is tacky for the first guy's friend to try to hit on you and cause possible hurt feelings for the first guy who might feel like a failure because you didn't go out with him, and would feel like an even greater one if you went out with #2. Real friends respect others' feelings even at their own expense.

He likes you plan and simple and now that your available hes interested even more if you don't tell him your not interested hell just keep on doing it so the real question is DO YOU LIKE THE FRIEND?
