Heart skips are called "extra systols" which means it an extra beat that comes too quickly. Normally it occurs when you are
tired , under stress or have stomach gas. Magnesium & hawthorn berry pills normally cure that easly. those extra systols needs to be treated quickly has they can ease heart attacks but in most of these cases it happens to older folks.

relax avoid spicy food & soft drinks and if your condition does not improve check your doctor.

Good luck

it is very possible that your heart is skipping a beat every now and then. Do you feel this when you get tired or have any other symptoms? If you experience chest pains with the skipping feeling or feel dizzy when it happens, then i would advise you to go to your doctor right away, There can be serious complications with an irregular heart beat. An EKG is quick and painless and can determine whether or not it is just a random spiratic thing or if it is actually an establishing problem.

Hearbeats can be irregular, regularly irregular and irregularly irregular. Irregular beats are common and shouldn't worry you at this stage. This is not a murmur. A murmur is regurgitation and doesn't cause missed beats. If this is a new development, I suggest you report this to your doctor who may wish to run an electrocardiogram just to be on the safe side. And , please, rely on your doctor for further advice and information.

Go to your Dr. and just get it looked at. Could be irregular heart beat or murmur. Lots of people have that.

i am 24, and i have this too. they are palpitations, a couple here and there are normal. if you have them all the time maybe see a cardiologist, and cut back on caffeine if you ingest any. i have some minor heart problems, but my doctor says the palpitations are fine since they don't happen all the time. my sister has them too and her doctor says hers are normal, but it is always good to get a check up!

It could be many things.....did you drink caffeine?
Do you get anxiety? If it continues and is bothersome, go to a cardiologist and get an EKG and Echo done........
I was diagnosed with A-fib a year ago, which is an irregular heartbeat.
