when the burn has healed and there is a pink scar, begin applying vitamin e oil to it. vitamin e oil will help reduce the appearance of scars.

Yes they're all right. Coco butter and vitamin E are the best. And they're both incredibly cheap. The vitamin E will be in the medicine and pills department, an coco butter should be in the lotion section. Make sure you get the pure coco butter and not the lotion so it will work better.

I did the same thing once on my cheek from a curling iron and it did get red and stayed for a little bit, but it eventually went away. I wouldn't worry about it being permanent, but put neosporin on it, it will definitely help.

Once it has healed, you need to keep sunblock on it when you go out into the sun for the next 6 months as the new skin will be sensitive that long.

You can buy Mederma at the drug store or vitamin E which is also available there. I got 10 stitches in my chin and those products are what my surgeon recommended to minimize scarring.

From what I've been told you can use Peanut Butter. It's worked wonders on burns I've gotten while cooking.

put toothpaste on it. it really works! you can do that for now before you get cocoa butter or vitamin e.

try vitamin E oil...... i use it on scars and stretch marks and it works wonders.....
