My cousins told me a couple years ago that her step-dad had sexually molested her. We're adults now, but nobody in the family knows, not even her mom. Should she know?

YES, it definitely needs to be brought up and dealt with. Who knows who might he molest next...so bring it up and have them deal with it.
This is the main reason why there are so many of those bast***s out there roaming free because girls don't feel like bringing it up. This is basically putting other girls at risk when he should be in jail. I STRONGLY encourage her to do something about it.

Absolutely tell the mom and warn other parents who have children who may come in contact with this man. Your cousins are without a doubt not his only victims.

Child molesters can have an astounding number of victims and these crimes can remain undiscovered for many years. In 1995, a child molestation case in Texas caused a national uproar when the suspect was due to be released from prison after serving a six-year sentence for the rape of a 6year-old boy. He told the police that he got away with abusing over 240 children before getting caught for molesting a single child and if released, would do it again. One long-term study of hundreds of sex offenders found that the pedophile child molester committed an average of 281 acts with 150 partners.

Please go to the website below and read it. But before you do that call your cousins mom.

yes due to having this man around any children would be terrible cause those type of people never stop and it could turn out to be someone else child and there aint no telling how many more kids he has done that way.....there is no statue of limitaions on this kind of thing in most states good luck this man is a horrible person and most people do not realize how bad this is and some wont even admit to it even happening to their families.....they usually say the kids are lying about some one molesting them.....

I would say Yes that she should know, if I was her mother and hadnt known this whole time I would want someone to tell me asap. Rape can cause severe pshcological trauma to a child that might not show up for many years, and if your cousin begins to show signs of mental trauma later on then her mother can be there for her knowing what caused it rather than being in the dark.
