The relationship is fine as long both of you like each other and have a good connection. Also make sure her/him parents knows and are okay with it, if not there maybe problems down the road.
These other posters have no idea what they are talking about you said a relationship not sex, and that does not make you pedophile, the need to look up the definition before they post because then they just look stupid.
Go with your heart. My sisters best friend met her husband when she was 15 and he was 32 and they are still married and have 2 kids. Love knows no age.

No, a relationship between a 15 year old and a 20 year old is generally not a good idea, unless the relationship is that of siblings and nothing else.

Id worry about a 20 year old who wanted to date a 15 year old. At the very least it indicates they are incredibly immature and at the worst a bit creepy. Bearing in mind that at 20 they probably will expect a sexual relationship which a 15 year old might not be ready for but will feel pressured into.
I also don't see any parents who consider themselves to be half way decent at the job allowing their 15 year old to date a 20 year old.
All in all it will be more trouble than it's worth

That depends on the relationship. If it involves dating, sex, etc, then no - no way is this appropriate. The personalities are too far apart in terms of their development.
If it's being friendly with the kid next door, that's fine.
If you're one of these people, ask yourself honestly which one applies to you. And if the first think you think is, "But I'm/she's/he's mature for this age", then the first person you're deceiving is yourself. If you're that mature, you wouldn't ask this question in the first place.

Is this a male/female relationship? A friendship or big brother/sister relationship is fine.... but crossing that line is basically against the law in most places.

that age interval NO....in 3 years it will be better and less legally hairy as the 20 year old can get into major legal issues! the ages are in different stages of life, one in college and drinking one in HS and shouldn't be drinking. Better to be single when in HS than dating typically

Not if the 15 y/o was my daughter! Not under any circumstance would I ever allow it and more than likely I'd beat the heII out of the guy for even coming near my daughter.
