Where can I find information about seagulls?

I'd like to know how much weight a seagull can carry but haven't been able to find it with google.

It would vary on what type of gull it is. There is a large size difference between different types of gulls. Here in the United States we have over a dozen species. I am not sure if this has ever been researched.
