does anyone know of a good heat protector that wont make my hair hard?

I love Redken Smooth Down Heat Glide. It's silicone based, so it wont make your hair crunchy. It's not a spray though, you just pump out a few squirts and distribute it through your hair before you blowdry. Then use it again if you flat iron (depends on your hair type...mine was fried so I used more - but since it's silicone based dont use more than necessary or your hair might weigh down or get greasy). Plus because you have to use so little, one bottle lasts forever! L'anza Neem Plant Serum is awesome too, similar to the Redken one. Both of them have no hold though, so if you need hold try AG Insulate Heat Protection Spray...it didn't make my hair hard.
