Get a clue. Get an education. Then you will be able to go out and get the job you want. No one is going to GIVE you a job.

Do you have any idea how much it costs to live in DC. Even for an American making an average wage, the cost of maintaining a home in the district and a home in DC can come out be be a loss on a Senator's or Congressman's base pay. Ad to that costs of commuting back and forth and you will see that your elected representatives don't make all that much.

OK first off there is no question here. See when you click on the button that says ask it means you post a question that others answer. OK?

Secondly, you can be well represented by those who make more than you. In fact if your pay scale is so low I wouldn't consider electing someone in your shoes to represent me. I would prefer someone who has shown some amount of success in their life.

Now, its no ones responsibility to give you work of any kind and certainly not good paying work. Its your responsibility to develop the skills that are in demand to qualify for good paying jobs, then to go out and find those good paying jobs and finally to work hard in those good paying jobs to climb your way up the ladder. As long as you are depending on someone else to give you anything you will never have any hope.
