Terrorism runs deep into the fabric of the United States. Maybe it depends on how you define terrorism - but I believe any attack on a group of people because of their belief system is a terrorism attack. People came here because of religious persecution in Europe and when Europeans got here they murdered millions of Native Americans and Africans because of manifest destiny and then have the nerve to call someone else a terrorist. So my question is do white people in America really think God will forgive them if they fail to acknowledge and claim that this has no effect on Blacks and Native Americans today - just because "it happened a long time ago." Will This spiritually get you into the gates of heaven by ignoring that the forefathers of America raped, murdered, and stole to get what you have today? Regardless if you do not think like them or not - you are reaping the benefits of their murder, rape and theft. Is it cool for whites to take this so lightly?

Not totally related but I thought I'd leave one of my favorite quotes.

"But suppose God is black? What if we go to Heaven and we, all our lives, have treated the ***** as an inferior, and God is there, and we look up and He is not white? What then is our response?" ~ Robert F. Kennedy

First off, I am scotch (emigrated in 1604) and native american (cherokee, osage and blackfoot). None of my ancestors were religious nuts that thought it was their divine right to rape, murder or maim anyone in an attempt to steal this land from anyone else.

Second, I refuse to be held accountable for actions that I did not do and cannot in any way shape or form change.

Third, I resent the implication that you assume all white people are religious intolerants hell bent on taking whatever they want at whatever cost. My skin may be white, but that doesnt make me the mosters you are talking about. It would be no different than calling you a dope dealing gang banger who gets his jollies by living off the system and knocking up b!tches to use the welfare checks for a new sound system in your escalade.

Fourth, I am an eclectic pagan who leans towards my celtic and native american roots. I denounced organized religion years ago. I dont believe in those pearly gates, so you'll have to think up better imagry if you want to try and make me feel guilty for something I had no part in.

Fifth, I reap no benefits other than being born (this incarnation) in the USA. I am busting my butt in school while my husband works full time to support our family, barely scrimping by just so we dont have to rely on "the system". Get over yourself....

And last but not least, why are you wasting your time spreading hate and trying to divide people by color rather than understanding that you cannot hate everyone based on a gross generalization. You are right, terrorism does run thru the fabric of the US, And YOU are simply spreading the hatred even further and turning yourself into the one thing you claim to hate the most.

I'd say its time for a reality check and much needed reevaluation of values, mores, priorities, and spiritual path.

Let's look at is this way....if you have a grown up child, who murders someone, are you responsible for it? No. You would not go to jail for what your adult child did.
Now though it is true that Europeans heaped a gigantic amount of injustice on these continents, you can't blame their descendants for what their ancestors did. Only those that continue to perpetuate racism, etc. are guilty. Many whites practice decency and good will towards other cultures, so you really can't blame them.
Also, Europeans are not the only hostile cultures in the world. Go back to other historical accounts. What about the Moors (you know...those dark skinned people) that invaded and conquered Europe for a time? Should their descendants be punished for this? What about the Zulu tribe in what is known as South Africa? They created an empire by brutally conquering other African tribes. Should their descendants be punished? Same argument goes to any other empire in the world that made a name for themselves.
So, would God forgive white people for what their ancestors did? Only those that do not practice racism and act proper for the betterment of mankind. Same goes with any other culture.

psuedo religious types of any race believe this. i'm not religious. and i haven't raped or murdered anyone, so there's nothing in that area to forgive. it did happen a long time ago, by people other than those alive today. a lot more than just whites are reaping benefits from it. why must you blame the descendants of those who did such to your (assumed) ancestors? why perpetuate racism, as you are doing? is it cool to be racist so lightly? wouldn't it be the same if americans blamed every middle easterner for 9/11? what about (pure example) if an african american killed your grandfather & stole his wallet & used the money to for his family--would you blame his kids for his actions?

That stuff happened generations ago, so how can you blame me? I'm a law- abiding, good natured (yes, we're all sinners, though) Christian, not a murderer, or a theif! Just because Bush is a lousy president doesn't mean that the 299,999,999 rest of America is too. Think. How could you blame ME for this stuff, and besides, if you are saved, you will go to Heaven, because we are all sinners, murderers, theifs, rapists, or not. It's called a second chance. If we didn't have that right, we'd all be in Hell before we knew it. That's why God is generous, and it says so in the Bible.

Hi!
I'm one of the "white people" you refer to...but I don't believe that.

Let me take it a step at a time for you:

1. I immigrated from Germany.

2. All my family came from Europe, either in the late 19th or early 20th Century.

3. None of my family members did any of the acts you mentioned ("...rape, murder and theft to gain control of the USA??").

So, should I feel the way you claim I should feel ("cool for whites to take this so lightly")???

I think not.
Any more than you should feel guilty for the genocide in Rwanda or Darfur...or for the Africans who sold their countrymen into slavery...as you say: "just because "it happened a long time ago." ".

So do me a favor, and get off your high moral horse, take a look around and be aware that when you blast an entire race of people in a negative light, it is abundantly clear that you, my friend, are the ignorant fool.

My ancestors were serfs in feudal England, and as such were subject to beating or rape or murder at the whim of the landowners. These landowners got their land by killing and torturing other landowners. It happened a long time ago, and I do not care. The people who did this to my ancertors could be in heaven or hell or with the FSM for all I know or care. Nobody ever thinks about this any more. It's unproductive.

I really don't see how it is any different for you.

Also, as someone who is part Russian, I very much dislike the racist way in which you imply that all 'whites' are responsible for what happened in America.

Yes, If this nation don't repent for the sins and the sins of their father then this nation will be punish the same why they treated others.

Here is the power and Judgment that God did to Egypt and yes the whole country paid for that crime, then they lost all their wealth to the one's they didn't want to have it. Because Egypt and America have the same history in common except the Egyptians own their own land.

Ezekiel 30
"Son of man, prophesy and say: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says"

"A sword will come against Egypt, and anguish will come upon Cush. When the slain fall in Egypt, her wealth will be carried away and her foundations torn down."

" 'This is what the LORD says: The allies of Egypt will fall and her proud strength will fail. From Migdol to Aswan they will fall by the sword within her, declares the Sovereign LORD."

" 'They will be desolate among desolate lands, and their cities will lie among ruined cities."

"the most ruthless of nations will be brought in to destroy the land. They will draw their swords against Egypt and fill the land with the slain."

"I will dry up the streams of the Nile and sell the land to evil men; by the hand of foreigners I will lay waste the land and everything in it. I the LORD have spoken."

"I will set fire to Egypt; Pelusium will writhe in agony. Thebes will be taken by storm; Memphis will be in constant distress"

"The young men of Heliopolis [g] and Bubastis will fall by the sword, and the cities themselves will go into captivity."

"Dark will be the day at Tahpanhes when I break the yoke of Egypt; there her proud strength will come to an end. She will be covered with clouds, and her villages will go into captivity"

"So I will inflict punishment on Egypt, and they will know that I am the LORD"

First, it is a false statement that the "pilgrims" came here because of persecution. If you knew anything about history you would know that the bill of rights was published in England in 1698 a full 100 years before the US bill of rights. They left England because they wished to create a state where every one would be forced to conform to their ideologies. Let's get over the fake justifications. Secondly, where Africans were brought over to the Americas as slaves, as heinous a crime as we view it today, they were purchased from other Africans who were trading in slavery in Africa, where are the apologies from them? Why is political correctness such a one way street that 200 years later people are still posing as victims... get over it!

There is no culture on the face of this earth that has not at one time been the perpetrator or victim of some sort of "terrorism" against or by another people.
My family wasn't here at the time you're referencing. They didn't even come here until the 20th century, so you can't go saying that all "white people" are guilty for what went on in that time. At the time your ancestors were slaves here in the U.S., my ancestors were slaves to the British and starving to death in Ireland. We're not too far apart in our history, you & I. The difference is, my family moved on and made a better life for themselves. You're apparently just whining and expecting some sort of reparations. You'd be better off just moving on. You're not benefitting yourself or your race blatting like a helpless child who has no control over his life.

It's not just white people that buy into this mindset of stupidity. It is anyone that buys into the idea of Jesus will forgive you for any sin.

So long as a person thinks all they need to do to make up for any action is say to a God figure that they are sorry you will continue to see things like murder, rape, theft, terrorism.
Religion (Christianity) makes it really easy to try and side step personal responsibility for ones actions.

While Personal responcibility for ones actions is a core tennant of Satanism. No one you don't see Satanists running around doing the crap Christians do!
