Two of my favorites are the Children's Museum and the Zoo.

Zoo is located at: 1200 W. Washington St. - Indpls, IN - 46222
hours: 9am-4pm Mon-Thur
9am-5pm Fri-Sun
Infoline:
(317) 630-2001

Children's Museum (this is fantastic):
3000 N. Meridian St., Indianapolis, IN 46208-4716
phone: 317-334-3322

The last link is for the search page that I got when I typed "indianapolis childrens activities" into the search box. I'm not as familiar with these places.

There is also a play area (giant- but I don't know what it's called) :-( on the northside off of Interstate 465- I think it's near the Castleton exit...but not for sure.

There is plenty of stuff downtown by the canal to do. I believe you can rent a paddle boat and go up and down the canal.

The Children's Museum is definitely fun and an all day event, as is the zoo.

If you don't mind going up north about 5 minutes, check out Connor Prairie in Fishers. It's a living history museum and a lot of fun. There are petting zoos and demonstrations and all sorts of things.

Have fun

My family also loved the Indianapolis Zoo. Highly recommend it!

It's a living history museum in the northern suburbs of Indianapolis. Very very popular and not a far drive (20min) from Indy.

Giant play area? That may have closed down.

Oliver T: So when are you coming?! Of course, I could never assume you're talking about anyone other than Britney Spears. Is she coming in concert here or something? ;-)

Hi handsome! What does that mean? Lol.

You like her hair better? Ok, then! I'll do the same, just for you! Lol!

I don't know about the kids, but I know there's 'something' there that I'd like to enjoy and see... ;-)

Aha! My Lannalicious is here!!! :-)

I'll be coming soon enough, so don't get too excited... and there is no double entendre implied! lol

Britney has nothing on you. Nor does anyone else for that matter. Well, maybe she's got a better haircut! Heh, heh, heh...

A double entendre is another term for sexual innuendo!!!

Oh and sorry Janie. Don't mind us while we have our conversation!!! lol
