I am not really over my boyfriend who passed away. I still cry over him alot....and his bestfriend is the only one who seems to understand me. So maybe it would be wrong to date his friend. He seems to like me alot...but the bad thing is that he is married and divorcing his wife.

are you over your boyfriend who passed away? if you are not, then it is not just healthy for you to move on with ANYONE and not just because it is his best friend. If you are ready to move on, make sure that this guy wants to be with you because he likes you, and not just because you two have your former boyfriend in common.

If you are not attracted to this guy, just tell him that you don't mind being friends, but that you are not interested in a relationship with him. If you think you could be interested in him, in time, just say to him that your not quite ready for another relationship just yet.

If you like him and are over your deceased boyfriend...YES
If yu are not over him his friend will only remind you of the life lost and you will be depressed.
