I am making a video of these tactics and how to disprove them. Having been a Christian most of my life should give me an extra boost.

There was an Assembly of God girl I wanted to date, so when I asked her out she said she could not date me because I was not a Xtian. "But", she said, " if you would accept Jesus as your savior we could go to a movie or something." (Hand on hip, eyes fluttering)

To put it bluntly, they use the same strategy and tactics that unscrupulous high pressure sales people use --- fear of a loss and hope of a gain. The human mind cannot fear and think reasonably at the same time.

They try to get me to explain my beliefs, so they don't ahve to explain theirs.. (common one).
They also tell me to "grow up".
But you should really look at the media, soap opreas and films (which are heavily funded and produced by christian production companies) and how they have managed to put morality tales and messages into every single thing - blasted out of tv's in the last 20 years..

I had a friend who was throttled by a Charismatic Christian he questioned( My friend survived). Since the Charismatic Guy was Much Taller and larger, my Friend decided to forego a time of rebuttal... ( And yes, it is a true story) !!! .... Ah Debate, gotta love it :-)

My mother in law cried. My mother questioned incessently and tried to contradict every belief I have with scripture taken out of context and my sister incessently asks if I'm still practicing that "voodoo ****". I'm eclectic pagan....I have no idea where she got that one....
