When I'm sick and running fever I tend to be more creative even though I feel bad. I'm wondering if there is a correlation.

@Laura D

You're probably having crazy dreams because you come in and out of sleep at night when you're sick. It's called a lucid dream, which is a state in which the person is conscious while they're sleeping so they are able to remember and control their dream. To enter this state, the person usually wakes up before they enter into REM sleep and while still semi-conscious, they start dreaming. So when you're sick, you probably have waken up a few times before a dream.

I know it's off topic, but i've been studying lucid dreams for a while :)

No I do not think it increases productivity...What does happen.. is that your heart beats faster when the body is fighting a fever.. thus you feel like you have more energy....

Maybe it differs from person to person!?
I turn dumb when I have a fever! And I usually get disoriented when I get sick.
