Take your pup to the vet IMMEDIATELY. This sounds like a blockage or bloat both of which can be fatal.

is there a thunderstorm in the area? She might be scared of thunder. Has she been outside in the backyard on her own, has she walked through any stains on driveways. Any fluid from cars or trucks are poisonous to dogs, so if she walked through a puddle of fluid from a car or truck and then was licking her paws she could have become poisoned. There are also some plants that are poisonous to dogs. But she could just have an upset stomach, if she's not better tomorrow take her to the vet.

Only suggestion is to take it to the vets and not rely on responses from anyone on here unless they are actually qualified and have physically examined your dog. Just assuming something and getting advise from a non professional could be dangerous to your dogs health. If you do not think this is so serious and are concerned about a vet bill for nothing most vets will diagnose simple things over the phone if you call and talk to them.

Ok. If the vet told you to just keep an eye on her, then don't stress too much. Gatorade is good to use. It does help to rehydrate your pet, there's just a bit of extra sugar. But in the case of a young dog, this is good because low blood sugar makes puppies sick just by itself. I seriously doubt its the pet food scare. That has killed far more cats than dogs and it is only causing renal failure. (kidney failure) Try to get her to eat something, preferably dog food first. Then, as a last resort, lunch meat such as turkey or ham.

There's a major issue going on with many pet foods right now. Rat poison is in them and thousands of pets across the country are getting sick. I saw a video on the news of a dog flipping over and tripping over itself, it was pretty scary.
Your dog isn't going to the bathroom? I heard the rat poison is causing kidney failure too. You should really take your dog to a vet. I'm not one but I watch the news every night and it sounds like your dog may have eaten the contaminated pet food. I hope not.

Definitely take her to the vet as soon as possible! I had a dog that acted similar and when we took her to the vet it ended up being distemper.

Any time a dog is shaking can be a sign they are in pain. If she isn't eating or drinking and hasn't been to the bathroom all day.....YOU NEED TO TAKE HER IMMEDIATELY TO THE VET!

Hello. I actually, myself, have a little short haired douchaund (hot-dog dog) and know alot about dog stuff. I imagine it's something to do with the food recall, like, kidnie falure or something. Also, GET HER TO THE VET ASAP!

if your okay with watching her just see if she improves during the day as long as she is drinking. If no better in the morning then take her. But do watch her if anything else changes take her to the vet, but you must be comfortable.
