I mean, it's two points, isn't it?

People answer questions all the time for points. Am I a criminal for pointing (ha ha) it out? Besides, the rules don't say anything about a question being insightful, I was merely pointing that out. Thanks for the warning though.

good question, but i'd rather answer insightful questions for experience than random boring questions for points

No, I wouldn't. I get points when I answer a question, but I dont get 'Best answer' everytime I answer. Everyone can answer a question but few answer it 'best'.
Since you were looking for either 'Yes' or 'No' with an explaination, I dont think I have answered your question only for points. But I dont know if its insightful. Would you like to add details in order to get an insightful answer?

Way to try and prove a point. You are asking for an answer regardless. I could give a sh** about 2 points on a yahoo anser forum.

Actually it's called Gaming for points and is against YA's rules. I hope you don't get reported for it. I for one will not report you, as I think everyone deserves a warning.

As they say, there are no stupid questions. And yes indeed, it is 2 points, unless the answer is chosen as best then it's 12 (total) points.
