people misuse a lot of gods gifts, but that is the way with us. sex is definitely a gift. just because some people abuse it dosent mean it should be spoilt for the rest of us

Are you saying that every time you have sex it is because you hope to become pregnant. Therefore when pregnant would you totally abstain? Do you not think any pleasure should be had from sex? Have you ever actually had sex? I believe in God, practice religion and I am not permissive but it would be impossible not to get pleasure from sex, at least 99% of the time. Are you saying that is wrong? Do you call a gay or lesbian relationship wrong? Two people of the same sex can be just as commited as two people of different sex. God must take some responsibility for creating people to crave for another of the same sex. I am female and not in a million years could I be with another women. I therefore have great empathy for same sex couples it is something they were born with that makes them have these feelings. I cannot say whether or not you are right but your point about people in modern ages going wild and misusing could refers to may things God created. In the Western world you could say we are misusing food when there are so many starving in the Third World. Could go on an on and I am sure in this modern age all of us misue things that God gave us.

First, there's no such thing as misuse of s** per se, it's all in the reason for which the people choose to enjoy this God's precious and beautiful gift to humanity!
The best of us believers can not assure that we remember God all the time..so why should this lovely act of love be any exception. In fact, my guess is if God created it this way, he must be pretty happy when people seek and find happiness in such a mutually satisfying way...

The Pagan Gods are celebrated with sex.
You celebrate Church of England, Catholic Church, Church of Latter Day Saints, etc. - etc., without sex.
Mankind is not the only being that utilises sex for other than procreation but we are unique for explanations why this is so.

I dont tend to think about god during sex. my boyfriend doesnt like me thinking of other men.
He created it to reproduce
we misuse it cause its fun
