There are a ton of products out there for curly hair, however it is difficult to accomplish both volume and tame the frizz with one product, bc products are so heavy. I have found Aveda just revamped there Be Curly line and it works wonderful, there is a balm you put on after drying. A diffuser is an essential for taming that frizz, this is an attatchment that goes on the end of ur dryer. Also Matrix Curl Life works great as well, however they strongly recommend u use the entire line for optimal results. I personally think professional products are the way to go to get the best results, it may cost a little more, but you get the best results w/o damaging your hair.

Almost any one of the anti-frizz products formulated to enhance curly hair that you get from a drugstore is going to work. Try to go for the higher-end stuff, the cheaper stuff can be less likely to work well.

i myself have really curly and frizzy hair.
i tend to use a nourishing treatment conditioner. the expensive ones are usually better quality.
i also get a small bit of conditioner and use it to tame the frizz which helps my hair look more natural without making it hard and crispy. this achieves a more natural look .
i also make my own conditioning spray. i get one spray container and fill 3/4 of it up with water and put in some conditioner. shake thoroughly and you will be able to use this everyday

sometimes it's trial and error. i have actually found using a smoothing gel/milk or a straightening serum works. it doesn't straighten the hair unless you physically straighten it with a blowdryer or straightening iron. it does however smooth each individual hair and creates smooth curls without the crunch. just put in product, scrunch and air or blowdry hair as desired! another great product if the straightening gel doesn't work is firzz-ease's curling mousse. good luck!

use a silicone smoothing product, either spray or gel form. This will hold the flyaways without putting excess product in, and its not crunchy or hard.

there's a shampoo/conditioner brand called trés semmé. it''s really helped my hair stay under control while still retaining natural volume. also, if you take your shower at night, brush your hair immediately afterwards and put it in a french braid. take it out the next morning, and it will be very pretty.
