She was a difficult labor for her mom cuz she came out backwards. There was another baby born who was dead and it looked like they shared the same placenta but she wasn't in a sac when she came out. The dead kitten was severly underdeveloped. Now she acts like she can see only from the horizon up and her head is very sloped in the front. She is 3 months old and the sloping seems to be getting worse. Aside from the physical signs, she also exhibits strange uncatlike behavior or exaggerated cat behavior. I'm worried I might have to put her down cuz it almost looks and feels like the top of her head is actually caving in. Anyone ever seen anything like this?

I do intend to take her in. And this sloping has been a fairly steady and gradual thing until this morning. It's just been today that she looks so much more sloped.

SEE THE VET. Immediately. Theer is something very wrong with your cat. Whether it's a disease, or some form of hydrocephalus, or just that it was born deformed, I can't say. You need to see the vet. ASAP. It may be something she doesn't need to be put down for, but you need to know for certain.

I think the short answer is that a vet NEEDS to see this cat. It could be that her skull is underdeveloped or maybe she's just got a physical deformity and is fine. Either way, a vet really needs to see her ASAP

That sounds horrible! Consult with your vet as the kitten may be suffering terribly. If that's the case, then putting the poor thing down will be a mercy.

No, I'm sorry I haven't seen or heard of anything like that.
You might want to take her to a vet and see if there
is anything they can do, otherwise it might be nicer
to put her down.

aw, im sorry, ive seen kittens die, believe me, i have.
and ive seen mental cats die from special needs. and they have to live by coming out of a sac. so i think your possiblities by keeping this cat is 3 out of 10. take it to the vet, ask them the best thing for the cat.... so sorry. keep your head up.

That doesn't sound good at all... Get that poor thing to the vet. You will likely need to put it down.

It does sound as if she is developmentally damaged and brain damaged. You might have to put her down if she has health problems so that her life is misery.
