Ok so my ex who broke up with me about 3 months ago tells me that she wants us to be friends then next thing I know she doesnt talk to me or is finding a way to start some type of arguement. I haven't seen her since 2006 and we were supposed to spend some time together each time we are she backs out on me. What should I think about her and this situation?

Well, try asking her straight up...
"Hey, I feel like I'm trying to hard with you, tell me, do you have someone else in your life, or am I just being too pushy" If you're calling her constantly, it's kind of unattractive and annouying. It could also be that she found another guy and is too scared to tell you in order not to hurt you. Try backing off for a little bit, as if you aren't interested, maybe she'll look for you soon.
Good luck.

It seems like she wants to be friend with you because of what she said, but she is probably scared so she is trying to push you away. Could you see yourself dating her again, or are you interested in her is only a platonic way? You should try to make it clear to her, and find out her feelings too. If you want to be romantically involved then take things slow so you can both get used to it again. If you just want to be friends then you have to set boundaries so that it will work. The first thing you need to do is figure out what you want, and then what she wants and then go from there.

I think it's a 'break up' because it's broken, hun. If she wanted to see you, then she would but unfortunately, I would say it's a done deal and try to find some new friends who will treat you with the respect and dignity you deserve. If she avoids or argues with you, basically she didn't want to hurt your feelings and she doesn't want to be friends. For some reason, we women feel we have to sugar-coat a break up with the "let's be friends" comment because the truth hurts but in reality it's just better to just be cut and dry about it. Sorry about the break up...have fun searching for new friends.

First, she broke up with you. Second, you guys BROKE UP. Third, "just friends" means "we're breaking up, but let's just not HATE each other".
She doesn't want to hang out with you (hardly any ex does, so it's not necessarily personal). It's awkward. Forget her and move on.
Best of luck.

Time to let it go. Move on and have no communication with her. She obviously is not interested and just can't say no, so she makes plans she knows she is going to back out of.

Sounds like she was trying to let you down easy but really has no interest in you anymore. Take a hint, buddy. Time to move on from this biatch.

Forget about her as fast as you can. She was letting you down easily. It is either too hard for her to see you, or she has ZERO desire to see you anymore. She may have moved on already, I suggest you do the same.

I think you should stop playing along with her little game and move on completely. That's what she's doing, playing games!
