I have this situation, I broke up with my boyfriend a week ago, and this weekend I went out with this guy, he is great, he likes similar things like me, like going on vacations, going to concerts, and my ex doesn`t like those things that I like, this guy I dated is totally cool and he`s kinda hot, anyway my ex isn`t that bad at all, but he has some things I don`t like, for example, he`s 30 and he doesn`t work, but he`s totally cute, and he treats me very very nice, and he is very very sad because we broke up any advice???

30 and no job? His good looks wont carry him through life forever. Sounds like your ex needs to get some stuff together before you continue seeing him. If you really feel badly, maybe you can help him to find a job. Help him look through the paper or online classifieds. Be supportive.
But whats wrong with the new guy? Sounds like you two could have a really good time together!!! I say you see what the new guy has to offer also. Give him a chance!

I take it 30 is older than you are. If your ex doesn't work becsuse he's a Bum then you don't need to babysit a person who should be a man by now. He should be sad if you have been taking care of him for very long. If this new guy makes you happy and the ex wasn't then you need to just tell him it's over and that he's not a bad guy, he's just not good for you and to not call anymore because you are not going to answer any more of his calls

What is your problem? You did exactly what you needed to do, which was break up with your loser ex bf. What on earth do you need or want with a 30 year old man who doesn't even have a job?! Forget him and get on with your life.
p.s. Don't waste your time on guys who are going nowhere in life, unless you want to be old an live in a cardboard box

He had his chance to prove himself to you and you made up your mind. Of course he is sad he must have liked you just not enough to impress you maybe you could introduce him to others.
