After my last appointment on July 31, 2006 I have not heard anything else from this office. I need to know the status of my application soon. Please. I am concerned that time is running out on my application and I cannot afford to apply again. I only need to take my test again.

Visit their website and it is NOT www.ins.gov- it is www.uscis.gov. There is a link to check the dates they're working on for various applications. You may also try calling them directly at (800) 375-5283- the helpline is pretty good and they are very efficient these days, you won't be holding more than 5-10 minutes (a miracle for a government agency!) just have all your info ready for them.

INS.gov is the website to check. DO NOT apply again; it will really mess things up and further delay your status.

call ICE/USCIS....this application is your responsibility..so..you need to call USCIS and deal with it..
