i don't want to over react on something so i need to know if this sounds as strange to you as it's felt for me;
Theres this guy who i sit next to during class, well i have dyed my hair purple (awesome i know), well he keeps saying comments like " wow your hair is so beautiful, it looks so.." then he'll stop and start touching my hair, i laughed it off the first time but it did make me uncomfortable (should have seen the look in his eyes), then the next day. He's says " your hair looks like gadarade....i want to drink it" And starts petting me again. COME ON! who says i want to drink your hair! it's just freaky. This has been going on for 2 weeks, and it's starting to bother me, i've already told him i don't like it when he touches my hair and i've said it pretty sternly. But he insists on doing it on a daily basis. Trust me i'm not even friends with this guy, and i've never had a more then 3 word conversation with him until now. Should i be worried and what can i do to make him stop?

Definitely something weird there. If you have asked him to not touch you and he continues to do so then he is assaulting you, unwanted touching. In this day and age you never know where a psycho is just waiting to pounce. If it is making you uncomfortable act on it now, not later when something major happens. Speak to someone in Authority at the school or with the police, try changing your seat..do something, and do it soon. Hope everything works out for you.

I'd tell the teacher privately about it so he doesn't know you told on him. And maybe she could move your seat. But so it doesn't look obvious, she she move around everyone in the class to new seats. If he keeps bothering you like maybe before or after class or in the hall or whenever, tell the principal. He shouldn't be touching you if you don't want him to.

Guys can be slow, or altogether deaf when it comes to respecting a female's space. Look him in the eyes and tell him, "Just because you think my hair rocks, doesn't mean you need to harass me about it every day. I think your a retard and I don't slobber on you do I??" Then of course asking the teacher to be moved away from him can help.

It's NEVER innocent when someone touches you against your wishes. Perhaps you can speak with your teacher in private to get her to move you AWAY from him. If your teacher won't help definitely see your principal. I had a similiar problem in middle school, once I talked to the principal the boy never bothered me again.

Normally I'd pass it off as nerves or akwardness, but this sounds like it's become an obsession, better nip it in the bud or it might get out of hand, not that it isn't pretty out of hand now.

even though you've aready told this guy to stop, tell him again. guys can be kinda slow sometimes!! if it still goes on, try telling the teacher, sounds weird, but its worth a shot if this guy keeps on petting your hair like a cat!!!

Tell him,

"You know in some cultures petting a person's head is like a promise of marriage"

See how he reacts....
if he keeps doing it, tell him "Hey you know I dyed my pubes too!"

Then tell him to "F*ck off"

LOL...with purple hair.... you better develop a backbone there girlie!
