At first it was cute.. Now I just cant stand it anymore!!.. I am 30 and my skin is oily and I tend to get black heads and sometimes pimples. I have tried the noxzema treatments, neutrogena, proactive and other pimple/black head removal stuff. It kills one pimple/blackhead and the rest of its family comes to the funeral.. I drink more than plenty of water, I wash my face 2 times a day and dont eat greasy foods. What can I do to get rid of them period??

If you have already tried proactiv and it did not work then I would get to a dermatologist.

If you have tried all of the products that work on the outside maybe you should try something that is taken as a pill form.

It could be more your hormones and body make up than anything else I know I used to get pimples and blackheads all of the time when I got stressed or worked a lot and all of the products that I used like the soaps and other treatments made my skin really dry and it seemed to get worse. Look for something that is natural. Sucks when you still get pimples after you think you should be done with it.

Clogged pores are often a direct cause of pimples and acne.Oranges and lemon (any citrusfruit)work well as great natural exfoliates to remove dead skin and open pores.Using a cotton ball, apply lemon juice on your face. Let it dry for about 10 mints and then wash away.Always wash your face before going to bed at night As you sleep, your skin rejuvenates itself. Left over makeup and dirt from the day can result in nasty zits.It is better to use a facial cleanser instead of soap as soap can irritate your skin.Egg white is a wonderful face mask. The white is rich in Vitamin A that is magic for your skin.
Include lot of fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet. Drink lots of water.

Cleaning your face with mild soap and water twice or thrice daily will minimize the secretion of oil.

If you are outside, use baby wipes if your skin is sensitive to clean your face. Then re-apply your makeup. Apply dry facial masque once per week. Cover your face with hot, steaming washcloths and then apply the masque to open up the pores. This cleans your pores thoroughly.

Before going to bed, use oil-free moisturizer. For removing the oil present on the make-up, gently clean your face by using toilet tissue. The tissue will remove the excess oil without affecting the make-up.

Apply foundation and then small amount of under-eye concealer with a fingertip. This will hide the blemish under the eyes.

Frankie,

Stick to a regime and be consistent. Exfoliate twice a week and a mask once a week.

Don't use any products with mineral oil and don't hesitate to heat a clean wash cloth (damp) in micro and place on your face a few times before your PM wash-

Look in to Arbonne. They have a great clear advantage
acne regime, and it comes with a daily supplement to combat acne from the inside out and the products aren't harsh like some -

You have to be happy with this, because having dry face makes you go older. I have oily face too and I know what you're talking about. I usually have those bloody spots on my chin area!!

I use this evenings and i am happy:

It somehow flattens those welcoming spots who are never welcome by me, but they still come and i hate them!!

Also, Clinic has a great face cream that is face jell. It flattens again. You need those new type of face creams that make those spots of yours just disappear and flatten their exciting squeezing parts! good luck! Ask a good Pharmasist about this. they can be great to help!
