I have a brand new Mustek Scanmagic 600cu scanner that I have installed correctly into my computer. When I go to control panel I can check it by doing a test and it fires up and tests ok. But how do I scan something? Theres no buttons on it and opening and closing the lid does nothing.
Help appriciated.

No wizard pops up. Im using XP home, IE7 and AVG.

Thanks Nicklas, I downloaded Google's Picasa and it gave me the option to scan. Will give you best answer after the 4 hours waiting period.

Try looking in Start->ProgramS->Accessories for the scanner and camera wizard
If its not there try looking for a capture function in your photo editor software.

Go back to control panel and click on scanners and cameras. find the scanner and double click it then follow the wizard that pops up.

Take it back to the store and get a new one!
