It sounds like a typical case of influenza. The bad news...its a virus. It will usually run its course in about one week, but the fatigue and weakness could last for several weeks after that. The good news is that you will eventually feel like your old self. That said, some physicians are now choosing to treat influenze with antiviral medication depending on how long the symptoms have been going on. If you are within 72 hours of the onset of symptoms, you may want to see your doctor. Hope you feel better!

It is most likely a virus which will last several days so drink lots of fluids and have soup to replace the electrolytes you lose with a fever. Take aspirin for the headache and also it will help the fever ( although fever is a good thing since it means your body is trying to kill off the organisms causing the disease by raising the temperature) Also a steamy shower will help. REST.

I'm feeling the same way right now :(. Third time in 4 months that I have had these symptoms. Darn kids and their germs!

Anyways, I drink a ton of water or juice. I also take decongestants with psudoephedrine. The other ones just don't work for me at all. you have to ask the pharmacist and show ID so that they can make sure you aren't going to make the pills into meth, but.... I get the tissue with lotion and make sure I get plenty of rest. I also take Ibuprofen for the aches and pains and throw in a daily multivitamin for good measure.

It could be the flu, or any other common viral infection (most likely), or allergies.

If it is a virus, a trip to the doctor won't help anyways- antibiotics are useless in this case.

Wait a week and see if it clears up. Make sure to drink lots of fluids to replace those lost and you can take tylenol for the aches and pains and the fever.

Losenges can help your throat.

sounds like you have a viral infection maybe a cold or a flu bug. There is nothing you can really do if you have a virus. Just hang in there and drink plenty of water and get lots of rest!

Sounds like a cold. You may have fought off one version of a cold virus, but acquired a new one while somewhat weakened by the first attack... maybe!

If you don't have a fever, it might just be allergies. I don't know where you live, but it's allergy season here...try taking an antihistamine and some ibuprofen or Tylenol with it.
Take care xx

go to the freaking doctor. you are going to get medical advice from people who probably do not any background in medicine and even worse going by your description of what you think is going on
GO TO THE DAMN DOCTOR. if you can't afford it go to a free clinic or the emergency room. the ER has to treat you
