Eat a balanced diet with plenty of fruit and veg. Around 1,500 calories.
Take a healthy amount of exercise 30-40 minutes of vigorous exercise per day 4-5 days a week. I hate to think what percentage of the UK population does that 2%? 5%?
No special diet,no herbal/dangerous/illegal drugs will fix it for you in 10 minutes without the need for me to get off the couch!

First eating right (well-balanced meals, cut out calories that you dont need - stop snacking just because) and drinking plenty of water (half your body weight in oz i.e. if you are 160, you should be drinking 80 oz a day + 16 if you live in a dry climate, and + another 16 if you work out)
Second - CARDIO. Nothing is going to slim down the wasit, hips, legs, stomach, even the upper body without a cardio workout. Think of an activity you enjoy (dancing, sport, walking/running, shooting baskets, DDR, anything that gets your blood flowing) and do it for 30 minutes a day. You'll notice changes in a couple of weeks.

try walking 30 min a day. Either you walk at the high school track or you can walk on your road, but really try to get some good excersize in there! I was overweight and I really put my mind to being healthy, I first started off by walking. Now, I work out 4 nights a week and I walk 30 min a day. I have an office job, so sitting in one spot can be bad especially if you are not active. Losing weight when you are older is much more harder!!! So try being healthy now! CUT OUT SWEETS!

The only way you can lose the stomach flab is to burn the calories. Even if you didn 1000 sit ups every day, the muscles would tone, yes but they would be hidden under all that fat. I reccomend doing calorie burning exercises like running, fast walking or any cardiovascular machines and eating a low fat healthy varied diet. Along with doing regular sit ups (in the correct way), then you would eventually see a smaller tummy. Avoid foods that make you bloated like eating a load of pasta with some veg. Try and prepare your meal as a load of veg with pasta instead. Go easy on the bread. Good Luck!!

Hey girl, DON'T TRIP!!! My Lady is dropping inches by eating whole foods, excercising regulary and doing PILATES! Get yourself a good pilates tape, like maybe "Denise Austin Hit the spot Pilates" It's a bangin' dvd, it is for leaner and tighter abs, hips thighs, and buns. Stay strong little sister, and sure as hell don't be trippin on these american stick insects! Also remember most guys and girls like a girl that has substance about her, both in mind and body. And listen to the post that Kristina put out there. Good advice!

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats and it will tell you how many calories a day you need to maintain your weight. take 300-400calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
eat 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones.
5-8 servings of fruit and vegetables a day.
8 glasses of water a day.
4-6 times a week cardio work out for 30-50min plus light weight training.
no junk food, no sodas, no white flour (white bread, pasta, cookies, cakes etc)

Continuous exercises like wlaking or running long distance. Cut out treats and whilst doing exercise, make sure afterwards you do sit ups etc so you do not get flabby skin!!
