i straighten my hair every day, but i was wondering how can i make it look a little more natural. i think that the stick straight look is a little harsh looking, or at least it doesnt flatter my face well
thanks for all answers

My hair is really curly and frizzy so i straighten it a lot. I know what you mean by the stick straight look. What i usually do is i straighten it the night before and then put it in a bun at the top of my head. Not a messy bun but like a tight bun. In the morning i take it out and it is still semistraight, but it has a little wave to it. It works. Try it to see if you like it. hope this helps!

deep condition about every other day. also try to give your hair a day off here and there. i just throw mine up when i do that. I straighten my hair almost daily, but I dont exactly do it the way its recommended it because I have really thick and curly hair. I blow dry it first then use a flat iron. Also use a straighten balm. Try curling it a bit then brushing it out. I get sort of a fuller look.

I have naturally straight hair but whenever i braid it or put it in a ponytail i get terrible kinkyness (not the good kind). I use a wide (really wide) barrel curler to smooth it out. Looks very natural. I used it like a straightener on my friend who has SUPER curly hair and it can out very cute. Soft and curled in or flipped out. Your choice. Make sure you get a big curler with heat settings so you don't fry your ends. GOOD LUCK !

Curl the tips of your hair with a big curling iron, or a round brush. ALso put some volumizer to make it look more full rather than pencil straight

If i want a natural look, i only straighten half or 3/4 of my hair so its not overpowering. You could also straighten all of your hair, then add a spray gel or hairspray or even a texturizer to scrunch it up a bit.

After you straighten your hair, perhaps you can blowdry your hair and add volume to it so that it doesn't look so flat/straight? You can also try curling it just a little bit so that the curls are not too full but just enough so that it adds volume to your look.

If you would like it more natural and not so stick like I would reccomend gettin a few layers around your face and a long side swept bang. My sister and I have the same hair texture and hers did that and I cut her hair like I said and the problem was SOLVED!!!!

Ok try braiding you hair going back before you go to sleep. Then in the morning unbraid your hair. You outcome should look like wet and weavy hair.

you should try using a round brush and a blow dryer that will probably give it a more natural look.
