Still not sure you're up on the whole concept of Y!Answers. Maybe if you ask a question you'll get some good opinions from various Methodists. I worked for years in the Methodist church.
But then I don't think that's what you really want.

I did not see your statement so can't really comment. I am curious though, as a pastor of a church, do you think it is somewhat hypocritical to single out one sin as a rallying point for the church? I have never been able to figure this out.

raping children isn't supported by churches, either, or so they say.
but WOW. the churches sure are spending millions of dollars defending rapists and molesters!!!
your stand against gays is based on a loose translation, hatred, and HUGe hypocrisy. you cherry pick your bible and ignore most of the tenets that apply to non-gays. get over it already!!
