EDIT - gynecologists don't know. They can only report if the hymen is in tact. That can be broken during sports or horseback riding.

That depends if you're a guy or a girl, I've heard some times a girl walks and acts differently, but "behaviors" usually give you away.
IT IS true that because of confidentiality a Dr. may not be able to tell your parents, if you are a girl.
If you're a guy even a Dr. can't tell and who cares.
Some times parents ignore the signs anyway.

I really don't think so, unless you or someone else tells them. Like others have said, your hymen could have been broken in sports, or possibly by masturbation... but even if they took you to a gynecologist you have the right of Doctor/patient confidentiality even if you are under age. I'm 17 and had my first pap smear at 16, and the doctor made my mom leave the room to ask me whether or not I've had sex. I have nothing to hide because I haven't, but they still have to oblige the doctor/patient confidentiality rule unless you consent to your parents knowing your info. hope I helped. email me if you need anything.

I was always told that a doctor could not find out, but from my own experience, I know that he can. When you are a virgin the hole is tight. After sex it is loosened and wont ever be as tight as when you were a virgin.

They can take you to the doctor for an exam, and if your hymen is not intact (even if it was ruptured during a bicycle accident or while horseback riding or something like that) then they will have proof of your non-virginal status.

I don't think so because i went to the doc. when i was 14teen and asked him if he could tell and he said no that it is something parents tell Kidd's so that they will not do anything.
anyway i think that u need to tell Ur mom about not being one or if u want to have sex then let her know so that she can get u some thing birth control

Yup! If you're under the age of 16, in most states, they can take you to a OBGYN (woman specialist) and have a vaginal exam done. The doctor will be able to determine whether you've had sex or not! If you haven't as yet had sex, my advice is DON'T DO IT!* If you have, for God's sake, please be careful and use appropriate measures to guard against an unwanted pregnancy and/or STD (sexually transmitted disease).
*If your boyfriend says to you "if you love me, you'll prove it" you say to him "if you love you, you wouldn't make me prove it"!

Yes, your parents can tell! well if they suspect that your having sex then they might take you to the doc. to get a papsmeir or something! but that's the only way i think they would be able to tell!

the only way to know for sure is by going to a gynecologist or some times thay can tell by the way u acted or walk it may sound funny but its ture
