Looking for a nice (not ghetto) tropical, romantic and relaxing destination for a honeymoon in July. Something affordable too. Im not looking for a party city, but having a few things to do at night could be fun. Any recommendations on hotels, packages, restaurants etc would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks guys!

I would highly recommend San Francisco. There is a lot t do - Golden Gate Bridge, Pier 39, Arts district, Palace of Fine Arts, the houses that are shown on Full House,.
Ghiradelli chocolate, and Lomard Street . You are also a short drive away from Half Moon Bay which is the beach! If you go north you can go to wine country! There is sooo much to do in SF! As far as hotels, if you stay downtown you will have to pay for parking on top of your nightly hotel rate so I would look outside of downtown. The restaurants are great -seafood, steak - you name it!

Hawaii or Cozumel/ Cancun Mexico are great locations! Although July is high season and warm, you can still find deals.

Here's a great website that offers specials to all kinds of locations. This site also has a honeymoon registry in which you can plan your honeymoon and have guests buy portions of your trip! Plus you can tell your story for all your friends and family to log onto and keep informed! Best of all it's free.

Click on extras and go to honeymoon registry.

Best of luck!

I have visited both Jamaica and Cozumel (Mexico) and they were beautiful. Very relaxing, good food, good beaches, snorkeling, scuba etc. They are definitely places you could "party" but you don't have to. In Cozumel I suggest the Iberostar resort. Very affordable, top shelf drinks, good beach and comfy rooms. Look on worryfreevacations.com or adventuretoursusa.com for deals. Usually they run specials and you can get all inclusive (with air) 4 nights per person under 1000 each.

If you're looking for really great deals, I would check out www.thelastminuteclub.com, and you can build the perfect package how you want it. The number of stars of a hotel, the location, the price, inclusive/exclusive, and you can get some nice honeymoon deals usually 10% off!

How about a cruise? My husband and I got married March 10 and then set sail on the Norwegian Pearl to Cozumel and Belize. It was very affordable and we had a great time.

I suggest the British Virgin Islands.I got married there and had my honeymoon there as well.It was great; very relaxing, went to the beach everyday and had lots of great tasting sea food. The people are friendly and are willing to help if you need it. Go check out the website and see for your self.

Good luck and congratulations!!!
