Ok, well then let me clarify...
Of the 8 different accounts he gave of the "first vision", which is true and which are bogus? Why are his accounts so different? Why would he mention only an angel in one, then only Jesus Christ in another, then a multitude of angels, then the father and the son, then two angels, neither of which was the father or the son, before finally settling on the current account, which was written in 1838?

Joseph's little brother William, who would have been about 8 at the time of the 1820 "first vision" says he distinctly remembers joseph having announced that vision in 1825. This would fit historical records that state that Joseph didn't receive any persecution until about then.

One vision. I have a question for you as an answer. Do you know when your brother's or sister's exact wedding anniversary is? Let us remember that it is human nature not to remember little details. I don't think that many people had day planners in the 19th century. Have a happy day, and I send you a gummy bear.

He had several visions, all accounts of the first talk about the father and the son. However, I think you may be confused with some of the other visions he had while he was still young. I'll lay it out for you in cronological order:
1. He has the vision of God the Father and his son Jesus Christ while he is praying in the woods. This is the only "first vision" and there was no angel in it.
2. He has the vision of Moroni (the angel) in his bedroom. This is with the angel alone. Perhaps this is what you're confusing with the first vision, since this is often told with the story of the first vision since it is a part of the story of the restoration.
3. He has the vision of Moroni again when he visits the Hill Cumorah. He receives many more visits from him in later years.
4. Many visions of others, as stated by Pinkadot.
I hope this helps to clarify things for you. God bless.

certainly, at no factor has Joseph Smith reported that the angel grew to become into Nephi. some adult men have claimed he reported that, yet all they have are 2nd and nil.33 or maybe fourth hand debts. They...do not probably count kind for many, do they? issues like that doesn't be seen valid for the rest, so why count kind them for this? Joseph Smith repeated his tale a number of cases, often till now hundreds of persons. The words he used have been diverse, purely as they could be in case you or I informed a similar tale to diverse communities, however the necessities have been a similar. He by no skill reported the angel grew to become into Nephi. It grew to become into continuously Moroni.

The two accounts Cathy was speaking of was -
The one in the woods where God and Jesus appeared. (considered the "first")
The one the bedroom where the angel Moroni appeared (a while later).
I don't know who brother William is, so I don't know why he got confused, but a lot of people don't know the exact dates of these things off the top of their head. I know the first one happened in 1820, but I couldn't tell you the exact day (other than it was spring).

There are at least two recorded (written) accounts of the first vision. The first was originally Church docctrine and then it was changed to the second recorded acoount. One took place in a field the other in his bedroom.

One "First Vision" of God the Father and Jesus Christ.
He had many other visions though.
He also had many visitations from heavenly beings, such as Moroni, John the Baptist, Elijah, Moses, Peter, James and John...
Why do you attack the church? Why not ask your Heavenly Father?

Is this suppose to be a trick question, or just an error on your part? He obviously only had one "First" vision. Nice.
