Well, it could be hemmeroids. A good way to treat a hemmoroid is to go to Wal-Mart or Walgreens and buy a bottle of Witch Hazel. Witch Hazel is an all natural astringent that works as a vaso-constrictor as well as removes oil, dirt, and impurities from the skin. It comes from a plant and is sold as a liquid near the skin care products at a drug or department store.
Pour the Witch Hazel in a spray bottle and spray around the area that is itching or is sore to treat hemmoroids.
Your problem may not be hemmoroids though. It could be bacterial prostatitis, a bacterial infection of the prostate gland. Saw Palmetto and Ibuprofen are both good for that as well as prescribe anti-biotics.
It could also be a pinworm infection. A pinworm infection is suprisingly common in America. You can get pinworms from eating hamburger or pork that isn't cooked all the way.
It's real easy for a home-cooked pork chop or hamburger to be slightly undercooked. You can go to any drugstore or Wal-Mart and buy Pin-X ( about $25) or a generic Pinworm medicine ( for about $10 if you can find one ) to treat them.
Just be sure you wash all your clothes and bedding and only use the Pin-X as a one time treatment. It can take a week or so to totally rid your body of the pinworms, so the discomfort may continue briefly but it will solve the problem.
Then again, it could be the equivalent of a diaper rash. Baby Powder or diaper rash oitment work good for that.

Go to the drug store get some Desitin. I used to use it on my baby and now I use it every time I have an irritation down there. it soothes it immediately

Seriously though. Try them, they work! You can get them at Walgreens and probably all drug stores carry them : )
