I am thinking of going into the craft business. I am a pretty good painter and I think I am going to build up a stock of handpainted banners, anything from seasonal to holidays, to personalized or for baby rooms. Would you buy something like that and how much would you expect to pay? I have found other people offering them for $65 to $220.

I can't remember anyone ever mentioning they wish they had a banner in a way that I would feel compelled to add it to a shopping list around birthday or holiday time. On the other hand, I have purchased them, usually from Kinko's, for special occasions. I think we did our own design and just took it to be printed. The price was less than $100.00.

You might begin production by focusing on businesses. When delivering, let it be known that you can personalize for any occasion.

only if I think the person I'm buying it would like it

and it was cheaper then 20 bucks (but I'm cheap and sure you can get people to pay much more if you are really any good)

If I were you I wouldn't make too many, you might get stuck with them. And it would depend on what I would be willing to pay and that seems like alot...well depending on the size
