I need a place where we can go with a minor, but still get a few drinks. So Im thinking a restaurant or something. Its for a bachelorette party. Thanks!

Old Town is a great location for restaurants. Here's a short list of moderately priced places. Check them out on Metromix.com and pick what you like.

Adobo Grill - Mexican
Dinotto - Italian
Flat Top Grill - Mongolian BBQ
Topo Gigio Ristorante - Italian
Mizu Yakitori & Sushi Lounge - Sushi

There are a bunch more, some very expensive (Salpicon or Heat) others, more bar/pub-like (Twin Anchors; O'Briens).

All within a couple of blocks.

Enjoy!

There's a great mexican restaurant right next to the Wells St. entrance to the "alley" called 'Adobo Grill' (1610 N. Wells). I would suggest trying a Mojito A Mi Manera (aka a mo-HEE-to; Tequila Cazadores Reposado, basil, mint and lime). They'll prepare guacamole for you at your table, which is kind of fun, and they have three rooms for parties ranging in size from holding 15-75 people. Reservations are recommended 312-266-7999

If you're not up for Mexican, there's a "Grill & Pub" across the street called Corcoran's (1615 N. Wells St. 312-440-0885) which is a lot more laid back, or an Italian place around the corner called Dinotto Ristorante (215 W. North Ave. 312-202-0302) which is quieter. Lot's of good restaurants in that area.

Not much to choose since there's a Bar Louie down the street which is a restaurant and bar, but your only choice is Burger King and Boston Market near Piper's Alley

Since it's a bachelorette party, I'll say Topo Giggio

One addition to the other suggestions in Old Town...Upstairs at Kamahachi (a few blocks away at Schiller and Wells) is a cool kind of nightclubby atmosphere for sushi (they have good cooked food, too, including great tempura.)
